I’m #reading a collection of Edgar Allan Poe stories. Its enjoyable, but I’m also finding it hard to focus enough to follow the language all the time. It’s like only getting TV reception every other minute.

Updated my bio to be more detailed and expressive. I always hesitated writing longer bios as I felt it would be used against me or co-opted for business. It’s a really small thing ultimately but I’m choosing the not fearful option.

I hear folks unhappy with bird site also complaining about #mastodon. I think their issues boil down to expecting a product when mastodon is infrastructure.

Anyone have recommendations on mastodon instances? Not sure if it’s worth switching, but I created my account at mastodon.social years ago when it was much smaller. If I were to switch, I’d be looking for a moderated instance.
