This is absolutely fascinating.
Smell was the first of our senses, and it was so successful that in time the small lump of olfactory tissue atop the nerve cord grew into a brain. Our cerebral hemispheres were originally buds from the olfactory stalks. We think because we smelled.

I didn’t realize that the Coyote vs. Acme movie is based on a short piece in The New Yorker from 1990, by Ian Frazier. They’re both good!

I really liked this one. It’s a wild, dramatic story well told. I relate in very broad strokes, especially towards the end. Eveyone who wanted to read this probably already has but I recommend it.
Awesome to hear Marc and Tom digging into comedy again.
I saw someone literally hugging a tree in the park just now. The world is a parade of wonders.
There’s a man in the airport wearing a cowboy hat on top of a baseball hat. Unlike an overstuffed comedy premise, it’s funny.
