Liv Veazey writes a must-read expose on the banality of ICE evil for Hellgate.
Two agents, the woman who had already achieved 3,000 steps and a man in a black gaiter, began looking at articles written about the arrests in immigration court on the man’s phone. “There we are!” the man said, pointing to photographs of them. “Look, we’re famous! We’re rock stars. This is everywhere across the country.” They both laughed, then the woman leaned her head on the man’s shoulder.
What ICE Agents Talk About When They Think Nobody Is Listening 🇺🇸
Had a great time playing A Night of Suite-Talk last night in Brooklyn with the Cat’s Cradle Ensemble. SuiteTooth hosted an awesome show. Thanks to them and Daddy Needs a Win, who also performed! 🎭

When Moderation Becomes Appeasement - by Toby Buckle
For almost two decades, our politicians have listened to anti-immigrant voices and prioritized their concerns—arguably over all others. It’s Julia Evans new zine day. 🎉💽
Finished reading: The secret rules of the terminal by Julia Evans 📚
I’ve been using the terminal almost every day for around fifteen years. I’m curious and I read about CLI things. I learned a lot reading this zine. Stellar work as always.

You’re right @dreya, this movie is super cool.
I have my blog archive arranged by month, selectable by year, via Manton’s archive months plugin. Works great so far! The page loads faster, and it’s so much easier to explore older posts.
I was in Long Island City today, and spotted this lovely piece. 🎨

Digging deep into film history. Watching Sherlock Holmes movie from 1939.
Holmes is great. I like him played by Basil Rathbone.
Also I watched all of the Sean Connery James Bond films. These two guys were the best of the crime and spy thrillers.
