The Hellgate bridge at night, taken from the RFK bridge a few nights ago.
Manhattan at night from the RFK bridge, two ways.

A mashup animal for our times.
This tooth face really speaks to me in a way I can’t articulate.

This graffiti looks like what I always imagined the author of The Enchanted Broccoli Forrest looks like.
This glum, hatted stick figure giving a bizarre finger gun while taking an unergenomic shit on the street? Relate.
Had a great time playing Bird and Friend’s improv show last night with The Cat’s Cradle Ensemble at Otto’s Shrunken Head. If you don’t know what any of that means, forgive the absolute word salad. 🎭
Just received these in the mail. Keeping my record collection unhinged. 🎵

Stumbled across the obscure proto-metal band Sir Lord Baltimore in the Dopes to Infinity Wikipedia entry. Good stuff! I especially liked their first album. Loud Wire wrote a piece on their interesting story.
Since their inception, Sir Lord Baltimore were told they were five or 10 years ahead of their time. That’s great for establishing a legacy, but terrible for paying bills.

Flock, a surveillance system ostensibly for traffic enforcement, is in reality a back door goldmine for authoritarians, ICE, and criminalizing women.
From the EFF, with original reporting by 404 Media.
Flock’s insistence that what’s happening with abortion criminalization and immigration enforcement has nothing to do with them—that these are just red-state problems or the fault of rogue officers—is concerning. Flock designed the network that is being used, and the public should hold them accountable for failing to build in protections from abuse that cannot be easily circumvented.

I’ve been out in the Twin Cities cycling with my dad and uncle. They’ve got great bike infrastructure, and I’ve gotten to take some scenic rides with lots of environmental diversity. Wish every US city were like this! 🚲
